would be changing its signature logo. The new sans-serif font logo
is thicker and flatter, with slightly softer colors. Google has
been updating its logo ever since it was created in 1998. This

its app icons. Instead of the lowercase "g" the new app icon will
be a four-colored uppercase "G". The company is also including new
animations in the logos for its other products like Chrome and
Search. Even Google Plus has a new flatter and larger logo. Google
stated that the new logo "is meant to reflect this reality and show
you when the Google magic is working for you, even on the tiniest
screens". In a blog post the company discusses how much technology,
and the way the world views and uses it, has changed. The new logo
is not only meant to look better on smaller screens, but it is also
easier to display on low band-width connections.
