TORONTO, March 8, 2017 /CNW/ - An African mining delegation comprised of government officials and mining companies will join Nick Thadaney, President and CEO, Global Equity Capital Markets, TMX Group, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, to close the market during the annual PDAC mining conference. Currently, there are 128 mining companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange with 477 mining properties in 37 African countries. In 2016 these companies raised $1.8 billion in equity capital.
