Loonie Off Early Highs Ahead Of Canada Jobs Data

At 8:30 am ET Friday, Statistics Canada releases Canada jobs
data for March. The employment is forecast to increase by 5,700
jobs in March, slower than the addition of 15,300 jobs in February.
The jobless rate is seen rising to 6.7 percent from 6.6 percent in
the previous month.
Ahead of the data, the loonie retreated from early highs against
the other major counterparts.
The loonie was worth 1.3412 against the greenback, 1.4264
against the euro, 82.49 against the yen and 1.0097 against the
aussie as of 8:25 am ET.
