announced May 2017 trading statistics
for its marketplaces – Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture
Exchange, TSX Alpha Exchange (Alpha), Montréal Exchange (MX) and
NGX.
On May 24, 2017, MX set a new open
interest record for the Ten-Year Government of Canada Bond Futures
(CGB) with 736,300 contracts. MX also set a new monthly
volume record for CGB with 3,414,787 contracts and an overall
monthly volume record of 9,404,663 contracts traded in May 2017.
