BROOKLYN, N.Y., June 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- HITN, the leading Spanish-language network that offers educational and entertainment content to more than 44 million households across the United States, announced an agreement with Imagina US to broadcast La Liga Promises 2017, a special program covering the third annual international youth soccer tournament taking place at Riverbank Park in Newark, New Jersey on Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25.  Audiences will be able to relive the games this Monday, June 26 through Wednesday, June 28 on the English and Spanish versions of beIN SPORTS, the sports network distributed in the United States by Imagina US.  The HITN special featuring the top moments of the tournament will air on Monday, June 26 at 11PM EST/8PM PST.

La Liga Promises 2017 is a two-hour special that will showcase the best plays of the competition, which brings together talented young players from around the world hoping to be the next stars on the international soccer scene.  In addition to tournament highlights, the HITN special will include original narration and commentary on the best plays of every game, the semifinals and final, and the awards ceremony.  By shining a spotlight on the talent and athleticism of the young Hispanics participating in the tournament, La Liga Promises 2017 reaffirms HITN's commitment to promoting sports and a healthful lifestyle to the US Hispanic community.

Twelve teams from six countries are participating in the tournament, including, from Spain, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Seville, Villarreal and Valencia; Mexico's Club América; Inter Milan (Italy); Benfica (Portugal); Nacional de Medellín (Colombia); and the New York City and Newark youth teams.
