Canadian Dollar Climbs Against Most Majors

The Canadian dollar strengthened against most major currencies
in the Asian session on Friday.
The Canadian dollar rose to nearly a 2-1/2-year high of 1.2065
against the U.S. dollar and a 2-day high of 89.66 against the yen,
from yesterday's closing quotes of 1.2113 and 89.47,
respectively.
Against the euro, the loonie advanced to 1.4551 from yesterday's
closing value of 1.4563.
If the loonie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 1.19 against the greenback, 90.00 against the yen
and 1.44 against the euro.
