Most Convenient Bank®, today announced several changes to its
executive leadership team, effective November 1, 2017:
- Ernie Diaz, Regional
President, Metro Florida, was named Head, Consumer Distribution,
James Peterson, Head of U.S.
Retail Products, will become Head, Consumer Product and Marketing.
Diaz and Peterson succeed Michael
Rhodes, Head of Consumer Banking, who was named Group Head,
Innovation, Technology and Shared Services for TD's parent company,
TD Bank Group.
- Ellen Glaessner, Director
& Managing Counsel for Retail Businesses, has been named TD
Bank's General Counsel, succeeding Ellen
Patterson, who was named Group Head, General Counsel, TD
Bank Group.
Diaz, Peterson and Glaessner will serve on TD Bank's Management
Committee, reporting to Greg Braca,
President and CEO, TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank.

About Ernie Diaz
Diaz's banking career spans more than 33 years. As Regional
President, Diaz led TD Bank's Florida retail, small business, commercial and
specialty banking operations. He also was responsible for lending
services throughout a network of more than 150 stores. His
experience includes three years at TD Bank's predecessor, The South
Financial Group, where he was President of its Florida franchise, Mercantile Bank.
Previously, Diaz served in numerous banking leadership positions in
Florida.

Peterson
Peterson joined TD Bank in 2014 to lead the
performance of the Bank's retail product portfolio, product
innovation and delivery. Under his leadership, the Bank has
delivered strong growth and expanded its product portfolio across
market segments. Prior to joining TD Bank, Jim held numerous
leadership positions in credit card and consumer lending at JP
Morgan Chase, including serving as President of Co-Brand and Mass
Affluent Cards. Peterson also held senior management roles in
consumer marketing at Johnson and Johnson and at Proctor and
Gamble.

Glaessner, with more than 25 years of legal
experience within the financial services industry, previously
served as Senior Vice President and Managing Counsel for Retail
Businesses at TD Bank. Ellen joined TD Bank in 2013 as senior
counsel to the TD U.S. Wealth business. Previously, she worked for
Chase, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, and ING, assisting these firms to
develop and grow Wealth and Retail securities businesses, focusing
on brokerage, investment advisory, insurance, and deposit and
lending offerings.
