Some markets have more availability for businesses to grow than others. This is why we can usually see certain industries progress and develop faster than others and on a larger scale. As well as this, some businesses might look at their competitors and think, how on earth are they reaching those targets when I can’t even jump off the ground? Ultimately, it depends on how saturated the market is and how effective the progression platform is.

Canada is one country that sees new industries booming every single year. This is because the country is very attractive, close to the U.S.A and has low taxes. Keep reading to find out what industries are set to boom in Canada.

Taxi services

One of the main industries that have been growing in popularity in Canada recently is that of the taxi service industry. Consumers need to get from A to B and taxi services provide the ultimate platform to do this. Most of the time, it is affordable, however, growing transportation costs over the past decade has meant that people have been taking the bus or train more than usual. However, with the boom of more affordable taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, this is attracting a lot more people into the market.

Gaming

Secondly, the gaming industry has been booming not only in Canada but all over the world. The online casino Canada wide industry and gaming networks are flying high and progressing even more as the years pass. This is because technology is advancing and providing businesses with more opportunities to develop games and services. Moreover, as so many people are adapting to smartphones alongside the development of 5G, there are no limits when it comes to gaming on the go. This has allowed the gaming industry to grow rapidly, exceed profits at such a low cost.

Renewables

This is pretty much the case for all built-up countries, but the renewable energy sector has been making its mark on the Canadian economy for some time. This has been the case as the world sets to tackle the global climate crisis; renewable energy is one of the best ways forward in this circumstance. Canada is actually one of the top countries in the world that produces the most renewable energy, and this is only set to increase. This has allowed for more employment opportunities and money to be invested into the industry.

Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency has been taking over the stock market for some time, and Canada has been one country to progress alongside it. Many economies and banks across the globe are scared to accept that cryptocurrency will change many aspects of society. Canada as a whole has done a good job of accepting change. For instance, Kentucky Fried Chicken stores in the country have become one of the first businesses within the fast-food industry to accept Bitcoin as payment from customers.

Can you think of any other countries that will boom in Canada this year?
