I think I have found a company for my Modified cyclically adjusted price earning ratio portfolio. If I fail to find a sufficient reason to reject I’ll buy some shares and write about it for you.

Comment: Charlie Munger, the business partner of Warren Buffett, takes personal morality very seriously. He is a great follower of the moral philosophy of Benjamin Franklin and other leading thinkers (mostly “eminent dead”).
It turns out that behaving with decency, integrity and generosity of spirit is not only good for the soul and helps you keep the moral code of the major religions and of higher-level social mores, but it is also good for business.
It’s no coincidence that great businesses have been created by people with admirable moral codes. Take the Quaker families in the UK: Cadbury, Frys, Lloyds, Midland Bank, or take the amazing mid-Western US corporations, not least Berkshire Hathaway under Warren Buffett.
One of the most idiotic sayings ever is that “It’s business”, implying that the rules of decency, integrity and generosity of spirit can somehow be suspended because there is a different moral code for business – screw them before they screw you?
If you want business longevity, you want thriving and mutually beneficial interactions with suppliers……
