German business climate index rose less than expected in April
In Germany, the business climate index climbed to a level of 96.80 in April, compared to a reading of 96.60 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the business climate index to record a rise to a level of 97.80.
German business expectations index unexpectedly dropped in April
In Germany, the business expectations index unexpectedly fell to a level of 99.50 in April, compared to a revised level of 100.30 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to record a rise to 101.30.
German current assessment index climbed less than anticipated in April
In Germany, the current assessment index advanced to a level of 94.10 in April, compared to a revised reading of 93.10 in the previous month. Markets were anticipating the index to rise to a level of 94.40.
US durable goods orders advanced in March
In the US, the flash durable goods orders rose 0.50% on a MoM basis in March, compared to a revised drop of 0.90% in the prior month.
US Dallas Fed manufacturing business index rose more than expected in April
In the US, the Dallas Fed manufacturing business index climbed to a level of 37.30 in April, compared to a reading of 28.90 in the prior month.
