(ITMSF:BB) – Intermap Technologies Corporation ("Intermap"
or the "Company") announced today that it has been awarded
$1.8m in government task orders to
provide foundation geointelligence.
In addition to wide-area multi-frequency radar, Intermap will
deliver 3-D data with a calibrated high resolution laser sensor,
called Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR). The new datasets inform
topography, elevation, precise imagery, geodesy, GeoNames,
boundaries, and human geography. High quality foundation data
facilitates safety of navigation, improved disaster planning,
resource management, insurance modeling, security interests, land
registry, and infrastructure planning. Intermap utilizes
proprietary sensors and airborne platforms to collect its
foundation data. Intermap will commence data collection in
February 2018.
To support further expansion in its key geoint markets, Intermap
is pleased to welcome Kyle LaMarche
and Richard Šálek to the Company's sales leadership team.
As a former Naval Officer, Kyle
LaMarche brings to Intermap more than twenty years of
business development and leadership experience, serving the
advanced remote sensing market. Kyle will leverage the Company's
proprietary enriched datasets, multi-sensor collection
capabilities, cloud native applications, artificial intelligence
tools, patented data enrichment processes, and pattern-of-life

Richard Šálek brings to Intermap more than twenty years of

business development experience. Richard will support innovative
solutions for our commercial clients in the insurance,
telecommunications, and transportation industries, who are rapidly

better access dynamic, real-time 3-D analytics and efficient source
data management.
