Roche Holding AG (ROG.EB) on Thursday raised its 2018 sales
outlook after first-quarter sales increased.
The Basel-based company said its sales rose to 13.6 billion
Swiss francs ($13.8 billion) from CHF12.9 billion, beating
expectations. According to a FactSet consensus estimate, Roche was
forecast to post sales for EUR13.35 billion.
Sales are expected to grow at a low single-digit rate in the

previously forecast that sales would be stable compared to 2017 or
rise by a low single-digit percentage.
The company also said it expects to further increase its
