KL-Kepong Reduces Stake in Equatorial Palm Oil to 49.08% From 62.86%

Equatorial Palm Oil PLC said Thursday that its majority owner
KL-Kepong International Ltd. has reduced its stake in the company
below 50%.
The London-listed company said KL-Kepong--a subsidiary of Kuala
Lumpur Kepong Bhd., a Malaysian oleochemicals producer--reduced its
shareholding to 49.08% from 62.86%.
Shares in Equatorial Palm Oil at 0903 GMT were up 0.08 pence, or
7.0%, at 1.15 pence.
