He has written against patient over-treatment and philosophically leans "less is more" on drug approvals and prescriptions. I suspect he's not a fan of the risky first-generation Alzheimer MAB therapies. Regardless, he'll make little difference for us and others, he's not radical or nutty.

Anavex 3-71 (formerly known as AF710b)

"...AF710B, its exceptional brain penetration and target engagement can be implied from the very high potency of the compound in in vivo studies. Notably, AF710B functions as a cognitive enhancer in the PA test involving trihexyphenidyl-treated rats at unprecedented low doses of 1–30µg/kg, po (Fig 1E). The effects of AF710B on cognition are enantioselective since the enantiomer AF710A is not active at 1 and 10 µg/kg, po (Table 1 and ?and2A).2A). Strong enantioselectivity of AF710B vs. AF710A was consistently observed in vitro and in vivo (Table 1). How does AF710B pharmacodynamics overcome existing compounds? We found that AF710B is the most potent cognitive enhancer and with the highest safety margin vs. a variety of compounds tested by us in the trihexyphenidyl model under same experimental protocols as tested for AF710B, including, inter alia, AF710A, AF102B, AF267B, AF292 and donepezil..."

The company has taken the 10K extension the last few years, it could stretch into Dec. Let's see what happens.

Anavex has NOT taken or filed for any extension for the 10-K during the last three years as it has filed by November 29 each year when it became a large accelerated filer.

Yes, increasingly politically painful but healthy as there is a diverse “group” on my wifes side…...all deep liberal in beliefs. Thats ok for us as a couple as whereas a general rule of law is that while opposites attract, they are not guaranteed to stay opposites. In our case we, over our 27 year marriage have come to believe 90% the same core conservative belief and have a very healthy relationship.

Absolutely, but in all honesty I have never, I repeat never written my inlaws (or outlaws) off based on their political beliefs. I have always respectex them as human beings but yet in this day and age its all the sudden different. If you voted for one particular party leader you are a (enter a derogatory statement) regardless of common sense.

Case in point my wife, who now bleeds red, sits with her far left mother and after “penetrating” the conservative “leaders” talking points …. after an hour her mom shares with her that “well those are all good points you bring up”.

I agree 100% that we need to listen, agree where we can, and respect each other enough to bridge the difference otherwise we will implode as a nation of diverse beliefs.

Well...maybe not your last posting...almost 2 million share volume today...so pretty high. Is this meaningful in the short term for stock price movement? AVXL did close 1% higher, so not much movement there.

The planned trials are no longer expected in H2 2024. The AD paper, OLE results, transcription analysis, and EMA submission still are. I don't hold much hope for the paper (at all), but the other milestones are more likely achievable. We should be getting the 10K sometime in the coming weeks, so if we see nothing in the interim then we'll at least get an update in the CC. The company has taken the 10K extension the last few years, it could stretch into Dec. Let's see what happens.

Yes I did!!!....notice that the price on $SAVA is still just holding within yesterday's high/low range, on short term support of the up slant trendline (14 trading days)...and helped with the plus or minus of the 50 day sma.

$AVXL is looking pretty sweet with today's "Friday Trading" plus showing excellent relative strength against $SAVA's weakness

I guess my answer to WilliamMunny was just that it was interesting to note that there is cooperation between both the Democrats and Republicans on this and the size of the COST to Medicare (and Europe) with the exponential costs going into 2060....I will be dead....nothing else!

Late response, just saw my grandkids home from college for their Thanksgiving Break....I see that $SAVA is showing an inside day within the range of yesterday's high/low trading and back to test the 50 day sma...still above the 200 day sma....as I mentioned their base is huge and still supports the "potential" for a sharp move up. It can also breakdown and would be the "rug pull event", I don't own it....I am only long $AVXL...the thing is that I have zero knowledge on what SAVA offers based on the data expected in December....I don't see anything else at this time and it might also be the reason that $AVXL is selling off.

If approved, I think mayomobile is right with his price predictions

I get a market “feeling” similiar to what we have experienced with the gaslighting of the last 3.8 years. Up is down, black is white, ohh, and white babies are prejudiced.

I think we will see a reckoning with a hard pendulum swing upon MAA submission to the more “common sense” MC evaluation based on baby biotech pre Alzheimer’s approval scenario.
