GovDelivery to Host 6th Annual UK Public Sector Communications Conference

6th Annual UK
Public Sector Communications Conference to be held 16 September at
the Park Plaza Victoria London. The full-day event will include
keynotes from leading communication experts who will present on
measuring the value of digital audiences and share best practices
in connecting communications strategy with open data.
Registration is now open for the complimentary
event, where record attendance is expected based on more than 400
early registrations to date. Government employees and contractors
across the UK are expected to attend to exchange ideas, network,
and learn how government organisations are using digital
communications to drive citizen satisfaction and get people to take

open data for government. Additionally, attendees will hear
from their public sector peers, including Alison Davies, web
analytics manager at the Office for National Statistics, Alan
Ferguson, web manager at the Central Bedfordshire Council, Eddie
Coates-Madden, head of communications at Sheffield City Council,
Richard Pearson, marketing and business development manager for the
Southampton City Council, and Rosie Seymour, deputy director for
the Department for Communities and Local Government.
This year's Conference will also highlight the
most recent winners of GovDelivery's Digital Strategy and Impact
Awards. This award program was developed to honour effective and
innovative digital strategy throughout the public sector. The 2015
