American Express Hires HR Chief Herena From BNY Mellon

American Express Co. (AXP) on Wednesday said it named Monique
Herena chief human resources officer, effective April 1.
The New York credit-card company said Ms. Herena joins from Bank
of New York Mellon Corp. (BK), where she had been chief human
resources officer and senior executive vice president of human
resources, marketing and communications since 2014.
American Express said Ms. Herena, who will join its executive
committee and is expected to be named an officer, succeeds Kevin
Cox, who recently left the company.
