Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday called for the
European Parliament's involvement in overseeing his country's
bailout program, a proposal European officials say is unlikely to
win creditor approval but which shows Greece's continuing quest for
gentler bailout terms. Earlier Wednesday, Germany's parliament
ratified the latest Greek bailout, a major step toward clearing
final adoption of the bailout by eurozone finance ministers. ADRs

cents.

fell 4% from a year earlier as regulatory polices weighed on its
results. ADRs fell 1.2% to $53.96.
Syngenta AG (SYT, SYNN.VX) plans to divest itself of its Flowers
seeds business, aiming to allow the business to takepart in the
consolidation of the home gardening market. The Basel-based
agricultural seeds and chemicals company is currently resisting a
roughly $45 billion takeover attempt by U.S.-based rival Monsanto
Co. (MON). Syngenta ADRs fell 43 cents to $80.03.
