Equinor ASA (EQNR) said Wednesday that with partners Petoro,
ExxonMobil Corp. (XOM) and Total SA (TOT), it has made a gas and
condensate discovery in the Norwegian Sea that has estimated
recoverable resources of between 6 million and 25 million barrels
of oil equivalent.
The find, at the Ragnfrid North exploration well, is around 20
kilometers south of its Kristin platform in the Norwegian Sea.
The license partners will now evaluate the discovery for
development and tie-in to the Kristin field and further maturing of
the Kristin South project, Equinor added.
