The Board of Albion PLC have sanctioned a transfer of funds in to the Albion Ltd
Pension Scheme in order to reduce the deficit that the scheme is suffering. In
the September 2002 audited accounts this deficit stood at #2.9m (2001, #1.5m)
before deferred tax on an FRS17 basis.

A transfer of #1.5m has been made on 3rd March 2003 in to the Albion Ltd Pension
Scheme bank account.
