Tiger Telematics and MINICK Partnership Offers Multimedia Advertising Delivered Directly to Gametrac Consoles LONDON, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gametrac Europe Ltd., subsidiary of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Tiger Telematics Inc. (TIGR), has announced a strategic partnership with European based interactive mobile applications experts MINICK. The deal envisions MINICK AG creating the platform that allows Gametrac to create and run its Smart Advertising (Smart Adds) service, for its handheld wireless entertainment device -- an industry innovation for focused direct marketing and advertising. The innovative Smart Adds service allows companies to target specific demographic audiences in real time. Participating advertisers will be able to access the MINICK built platform to create their advertising content using a combination of mp3 audio, mpeg video clips and jpeg images. Advertisers will then be able to select the target audience and immediately send out their communication. The advertising can be as simple or complex as required and, for example, could include video clips about the latest cinema releases, audio clips of this week's hottest singles or samples of new games for the device. Advertisers get to enjoy the benefits of real-time, focused direct marketing utilising Gametrac's in-built GPS function, in a multi-media format. The revenue created from the Smart Adds will go directly towards subsidising the price of the Gametrac wireless handheld hardware for the end user. The option of receiving the Smart Adds is offered to the consumer at purchase and the acceptance of delivery will be rewarded with a discount on the Gametrac device. Importantly the content of the advertising will be channelled through a Gametrac Content Manager that will ensure any communications are entertaining, rewarding and informative. Carl Freer, Managing Director of Gametrac Europe Ltd., commented, "Our Smart Adds service is 21st century direct marketing and advertising. No other device is capable ofthis kind of targeted advertising on such a scale. In addition, the consumer benefits from this service through the subsidising of their Gametrac handset price. We are working with Minick because of its successful experience and expertise in mobile platform development. We are already in talks with some major companies interested in this Smart Adds service that puts their products and services directly into the hands of their target audience." "Effective mobile marketing is about delivering rich content -- a mixture of colour graphics, sound and video -- that provide the consumer with a memorable multimedia experience, and this is what Gametrac and MINICK will deliver," said Tero Turunen, CEO of MINICK. "With our 10-year experience in developing mobile services we will be able to provide advertisers with a unique platform for creating and delivering cutting edge, interactive mobile adverts."
