Urbana Corporation Purchases an Additional Kansas City Board of Trade Membership

Urbana Corporation ("Urbana") (TSX:URB.A) is pleased to announce that it has
entered into an agreement to buy another membership on the Kansas City Board of
Trade ("KCBOT") for approximately US$330,000. This purchase increases Urbana's
KCBOT stake to 10 memberships worth approximately CDN$3.4 million, representing
a 5.2% ownership interest in the KCBOT.
The purchase of the KCBOT seat is subject to approval by the KCBOT's Board of
Directors.
Urbana is an investment corporation that is listed on the Toronto Stock
Exchange. Urbana's current focus is buying seats and shares in private and
public securities exchanges in North America and around the world.
