The Lion Electric Co. and Boivin Evolution Monday said Monday
that Waste Connections Inc. purchased their Lion8 electric trucks
for use in Washington and Florida.
The companies said the Lion8 chassis with BEV's all-electric
automated side-loading body is a waste management solution that
reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
The companies said the vehicles have a range of 130 miles on a
single charge and have no hydraulic parts, noise pollution or
greenhouse gas emissions.
Waste Connections Chief Executive Worthing Jackman said the
investment in zero emission vehicles furthers its efforts to reduce
its environmental impact.
