Maersk Drilling Gets $100 Million Harsh Environment Rig Contract

COPENHAGEN--Danish industrial conglomerate A.P. Moller-Maersk
A/S (MAERSK-B.KO) said Friday its oil and gas drilling services arm
Maersk Drilling has received a two-year contract for the use of its
harsh environment jack-up rig Maersk Endurer at a drilling project
offshore Cameroon.
The contract has a value of around $100 million, and is expected
to commence in late October, Maersk Drilling said.
The exploration project is being conducted by Addax Petroleum, a
subsidiary of China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. (0386.HK), or
Sinopec.
