BT chooses Blackbird for ultra-fast and sustainable cloud native video editing and publishing

29(th) March 2021, London - Blackbird plc (AIM:BIRD), the developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video editing platform, Blackbird, announced today that BT has chosen Blackbird for ultra-fast and sustainable cloud native video editing and publishing.

BT will deploy Blackbird for high performance, scalable cloud native editing and publishing of content for its media operations. Working in conjunction with the Head of Content Operations, Pete Harvey, the Content Operations team will use Blackbird to access and edit multiple live broadcast streams of sports and other content for the fast production of assets for downstream distribution to over the top (OTT) and video on demand (VOD) channels for viewers to enjoy.
