Change of Name

BMO Managed Portfolio Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that it has changed its name to CT Global Managed Portfolio Trust PLC with effect from 29 June 2022.

The Company's trading instrument display mnemonic ("TIDM") will change to CMPI and CMPG for the Company's Income shares and Growth shares respectively. The ISIN and SEDOL numbers will remain unchanged.

It is expected that the Company's shares will trade under the new name and TIDMs on the London Stock Exchange with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 1 July 2022.

The Company's website address will be amended to reflect the change of name and will be available at www.ctglobalmanagedportfolio.co.uk from 4 July 2022.

Shareholders are unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates should be retained and will remain valid. Any new share certificates issued will bear the name CT Global Managed Portfolio Trust PLC. The investment policy and process remain unchanged with Peter Hewitt as Fund Manager.

Background

The Company's investment manager is part of BMO GAM (EMEA) which, in November 2021, was acquired and is currently being integrated into Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Columbia Threadneedle has been working hard to integrate both organisations in a considered and thoughtful way, focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for all its clients.

The combined business now has more than 2500 staff, including over 650 investment professionals based in North America, Europe and Asia. At 31 March 2022 Columbia Threadneedle managed GBP531 billion of client assets. The transaction also brings additional capabilities to Columbia Threadneedle in areas such as investment trusts, investment solutions, alternatives and responsible investment.

From 4 July 2022, the entire BMO GAM (EMEA) business will be rebranded as Columbia Threadneedle Investments, unifying the businesses under its global brand. Aligned to this date, all savings plan products and legal entities, which currently operate under the "BMO" prefix, will also use the "CT" prefix.

Many of the Company's shareholders invest through the BMO savings plans. With the BMO brand changing to Columbia Threadneedle Investments, the Company's Board has therefore resolved that continuing to align with the brand of its Manager, as well as the saving plans, avoids unnecessary confusion, and ensures the Company maximises the benefits resulting from broader investment by Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
