Audioboom extends production partnership with Formula 1 and
expands podcast network
The Board of Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast
company, is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its
podcast network through an extension to its partnership with
Formula 1, a new commercial agreement with leading sports podcast
The Fantasy Footballers, and the launch of RELAX! - an Audioboom
Original featuring leading YouTube talent Colleen Ballinger.
'Formula 1'
Audioboom and Formula 1 have extended their co-production
partnership until 2023. Audioboom's in-house production unit will
continue to produce the popular 'F1: Beyond The Grid' podcast, and
will expand their work to include the production of 'F1
Nation'.
Since launching in July 2018, 'Beyond The Grid' has been
downloaded more than 24 million times and has been a consistent
entry in the Apple Podcast charts globally.
As well as co-producing the official Formula 1 podcasts,
Audioboom will provide exclusive advertising sales, technology and
distribution.
'The Fantasy Footballers'
Popular sports show 'The Fantasy Footballers' has joined
Audioboom 's premium network, partnering with the Company for
global commercial and marketing opportunities. ' The Fantasy
Footballers' is a leading fantasy sports podcast and a regular in
Apple Podcasts Top 100. Since it launched in 2014 the show has been
downloaded more than 200 million times.
Audioboom will provide exclusive advertising sales and marketing
support to the podcast until 2022, following the successful
partnership launch during the 2020 NFL season.
Quoted by Forbes as "America's largest fantasy football
podcast," the show was listened to more than 50 million times last
year.
' RELAX! with Colleen Ballinger and Erik Stocklin '
The Company continues its investment in key creative talent for
the Audioboom Originals Network with the launch of 'RELAX!'
Colleen Ballinger is a comedian, actor, producer and New York
Times Best Selling Author, known for her YouTube character Miranda
Sings. She has more than 40 million subscribers and followers
across her video and social channels.
In her new podcast with Audioboom, she teams up with her husband
Erik Stocklin, star of Netflix series "Haters Back Off". The show
launched on January 13 2021 and went straight to number 1 in the
Apple podcast chart.
