Appointment of Managing Director Bartercard Australia
Bartercard is pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor Dietz as Managing
Director of Bartercard Australia, the Company's largest subsidiary.
Trevor has 25 years of senior executive experience with Australia's largest Bank
NAB. Trevor was also the CEO of the Australian Institute of Accountants prior
to joining Bartercard in 1993 as General Manager In 1998 he was made
Operations Director of Bartercard Australia and had responsibility for the day
to day operational aspects of the company including franchising. In late 2000
Trevor joined Bartercard International as Chief Operating Officer (COO.) where
he played a leading role in the company's global expansion. He is currently also
a director of Bartercard New Zealand.
Current Bartercard Australia Managing Director, David Johnstone, moves into the
COO role in Bartercard International, supporting Andrew Federowsky in
international licensee support and sales.
Commenting on the appointment, Wayne Sharpe, Chairman said
"Bartercard Australia (BCA) is the company's largest and most profitable
subsidiary and I know that under Trevor's leadership, it will be in good hands.
David's experience in BCA will provide dynamic support to our Global licensee
operations and future sales. "
