On July 13th, 2021, Moody's Investor Service (Moody's) upgraded
BBVA's subordinated debt rating by one notch from Baa3 to Baa2,
with a stable outlook.
This rating action is a consequence of the application of the
latest changes in Moody's methodology for banks, updated on July
9th, 2021.
