Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Checkit plc (AIM: CKT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Greenman to the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Simon will also join the Remuneration and Audit Committees of the Board on 1 July 2021.

Simon brings an exceptional record of professional and advisory experience to Checkit as an influential technology leader specialising in artificial intelligence. He holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA in Computing and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in technology across the US and Europe, Simon has helped define and grow new B2C and B2B product categories. He has worked or consulted for brands including Bowers & Wilkins, AOL and Accenture.

Having co-founded the MapQuest.com service, the first online mapping service, Simon was also previously Chief Executive Officer of HomeAdvisor Europe and spent nearly ten years as Chief Digital Officer leading digital transformations for private equity backed local media companies.

In addition to his role as a partner at Best Practice AI where he advises companies on AI, digital and technology strategy, Simon also sits on the World Economic Forum's Global AI Council, co-chairs the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of London, is an AI EiR (Expert-in-Residence) at Seedcamp and an advisor at DN Capital.
