Proton Motor Power Systems plc (AIM: PPS), the designer,
developer and producer of fuel cells and fuel cell electric hybrid
systems with a zero-carbon footprint, announces that it has today
issued 66,667 new ordinary shares of 1 penny each in Proton
("Ordinary Shares") at 105 pence per new Ordinary Share to Board
Chairman and NED Mr. Helmut Gierse in lieu of fees due to him for
the 12 months ended 31 January 2021.
An application has been made for the above listed new Ordinary
Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM which is expected to take
effect around 16 February 2021 ("Admission").
Following Admission the Company's issued share capital will
comprise 773,939,274 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any
Ordinary Shares in treasury. This figure may be used by
shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of
the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure
Guidance and Transparency Rules.
As a result of this transaction Mr. Helmut Gierse holds
4,072,850 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.53 per cent
of the Company's issued share capital and options over 6,050,000
Ordinary Shares.
