Co-hosted by the AgeTech
Collaborative™ from AARP, the conference tackles
transformative issues and investing in the $8.3 trillion longevity market
LAFAYETTE, Calif., April 15,
2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Investors, entrepreneurs, and
thought leaders in AgeTech and the $8.3
trillion longevity market will convene for the 22nd annual
What's Next Longevity Venture Summit, June
10-11 at the Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley, Calif.
The AgeTech Collaborative from AARP is co-hosting and sponsoring
the 2025 summit. The theme is Connecting Investors, Innovators,
and Distribution Partners in the Longevity Market.
"It's a path to deal flow, where trends are identified, and
attendees come away with insights into pressing problems in aging
that AgeTech can help solve," says Mary
Furlong of Mary Furlong &
Associates, the conference producer and advisor to startups in the
aging sector.
"The demographics tell the story," Furlong says. "The oldest
boomers turn 80 in 2026, with another 20 years of older adults to
follow. With new technologies, including AI, and a highly educated
population, there are significant opportunities for product and
service innovation, investment, and value creation. Global
investors are excited about the trends and the emerging channels
into this largely untapped market."
Dr. Ken Dychtwald will keynote
the summit. Other thought leaders will address pivotal topics
including the current status of funding and investment in
longevity, the implementation of AI in the longevity market, the
future of healthcare, innovations in senior living, mobility
solutions, wellness and more.
Competitions
The 2025 conference features the annual $10,000 Business Plan Competition, recognizing
innovations and solutions that help older adults manage the
challenges of living into their 80s. The application deadline is
April 30.
In addition, the event will feature presentations from the
finalists for The John Hopper Impact Award, which recognizes an
exceptional entrepreneur or innovator in cognitive and behavioral
health. The award honors the late John
Hopper, an innovator, founding member, and chief investment
officer of the Ziegler Link-age Funds. Nominations are due
April 18.
The What's Next Longevity Venture Summit platinum and gold
sponsors include CABHI Ventures, GetSetUp, Ageless Innovation, GoGo
Grandparent, Amba, Jubilee TV, Eugeria, Posit Science, and The SCAN
Foundation.
