Catalina Marketing Corporation (NYSE:POS) today announced that
Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass, Lewis & Co.
(Glass Lewis), two leading independent proxy advisory firms, have
recommended that the holders of common shares of Catalina vote
�FOR� the proposed acquisition of Catalina by funds affiliated with
Hellman & Friedman LLC. The special meeting is scheduled to be
held at the offices of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP,
75 East 55th Street New York, NY, on August 13, 2007 at 10 A.M.
Eastern Daylight Time. Stockholders of record as of the close of
business on June 28, 2007 will be entitled to vote at the special
