MINORPLANET SYSTEMS SPAIN AGREES FINANCING AGREEMENT WITH BANCO POPULAR


Minorplanet Systems, SA, a subsidiary in Spain of multinational Minorplanet
Systems PLC, and Banco Popular, today jointly announce that they have reached
agreement in principle for a long term financing agreement whereby Banco
Popular's subsidiary company, Popular de Renting will provide finance in respect
of sales made by Minorplanet Systems SA in Spain. The initial facility is set at
Euro12 million. Contracts with a value of Euro3.2 million have already been assigned
under similar arrangements.
