Recent advancements in auto technology have made electric vehicles
(EVs) a more viable option for everyday use. While brands around

drivers to be aware of the benefits, ownership and technology of
EVs and plug-in hybrids. BMW of North
Haven will be a part of a local event- the National Drive
Electric Week Event- that will celebrate the latest advancements in
electric vehicle technology.

On September 12, 2015,
between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., drivers
are encouraged to bring their electric vehicles to Middletown
Harbor Park. There will be parking for EVs and plug-in hybrids
available along the river, where level one and two charging
stations will be provided. During the event, drivers will have the
opportunity to share information about their EVs, as well as
partake in tailgating, a robotics presentation by Mercy High School and a time for questions
regarding EV ownership.
BMW of North Haven will be
bringing BMW's popular i3 Electric Drive to the event, giving
drivers the opportunity to scope out what the brand has to offer.
There will also be a time where drivers can test drive different
electric vehicles.
