Marshall & Ilsley Corporation to Match Employee Donations to Hurricane Relief, Up to $100,000

Customer Donations Accepted at All M&I Bank Branches Nationwide
MILWAUKEE, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Marshall & Ilsley
Corporation (NYSE:MI) has announced it will match all employee
donations, up to $100,000, for M&I employees who choose to
donate funds for hurricane relief efforts on the
Louisiana-Mississippi coast. Matching funds from M&I will be
donated to The American Red Cross and The Salvation Army. The
employee matching funds contribution is in response to the
significant need for mass care services such as food, medicine, and
emergency shelter following the devastating hurricane, strong
winds, and flooding. In addition, all M&I Banks and Southwest
Bank of St. Louis offices nationwide will be accepting customer
donations to The American Red Cross and The Salvation Army at all
branch locations. "As the death toll mounts and the full extent of
the damage is realized, it's clear significant resources will be
required to rebuild this area and aid victims," said Dennis
