The Company was informed on 20 January 2004 that following their participation
in the recent placing and open offer Bero SCA, Herrick Investissements SAS and
Ponthieu Ventures SA, all of which are companies associated with the French de
Rothschild family, are interested in a total of 6,982,349 ordinary shares of 1p
each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 10.67 per cent. of the
issued share capital of the Company.
