To mark Industry Week, Emmanuel Macron, Minister of the Economy,
Industry and the Digital Sector will visit the Groupe Gorgé site at
Mureaux on Friday, 3 April 2014 for a tour of Prodways, the French
and global leader in 3D printing.
3D printing is a key component of France's industrialisation
plan, "Plants of the Future", to be given priority by the Minister
as part of the review of the country's industrial strategy and seen
as one of the drivers of the digital transformation of
industry.
The Minister's Prodways visit will take in the Research and
Development Department and the 3D printer production studio for a
presentation of the Group's know-how and the latest technologies in
the field.
The Group is honoured to receive this visit by the Minister one
week after it announced its new ambitious plans for Prodways,
namely to become the third-largest player in the world to offer a
range of multi-technological services and all 3D printing services
to its customers (see press release dated 26 March 2015).
