HYDRO INTERNATIONAL PLC (the "Company")

ADDITIONAL LISTING


The Company announces that pursuant to the terms of its Save-As-You-Earn Option
Scheme ("SAYE Scheme"), options over 76,654 ordinary shares of 5p each
("Shares") have been exercised at 29.0 pence per Share. In addition, pursuant to
the terms of its US Stock Option Plan, options over 30,000 Shares have been
exercised at 24.5 pence per Share.


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for 106,654 Shares to be
admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares
to be admitted to trading. The Shares will, upon issue, rank pari passu with the
existing issued shares of the Company. Dealings are expected to commence on
Tuesday, 19 August 2003.


Mr Robert Andoh, Director, is interested in 53,793 of the SAYE Scheme Shares to
which this application relates. Consequently, following the exercise of the
options, Mr Andoh is interested in 74,418 Shares, representing approximately
0.54% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
