                  Notification of Major Interests in Shares

On 10th March 2003 Intec Telecom Systems PLC notified the Exchange of the sale
of 2,407,984 shares by its shareholder, Henderson Global Investors. The
announcement was made following the receipt of written instruction from the
shareholder in accordance with Section 198 of the Companies act 1985.

Intec Telecom Systems PLC has subsequently received written confirmation from
Henderson Global Investors that the notification of the sale of 2,407,984 shares
was an error, and the trade did not take place,
