Hess has resigned as Vice Chairman and a member of the Company's Board of Directors effective today. Mr. Hess had retired from his position as Chief Executive Officer of Vita Specialty Foods, Inc., the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, effective Friday, August 25, 2006.
