Xansa plc (the "Company") received notification on 31 December 2003 under
sections 198-208 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) (the "Act") that as at
the close of business on 29 December 2003, the AEGON UK plc Group of Companies
no longer had a notifiable interest in the Company's ordinary shares of 5 pence
each.
