“xTVNow” HDMI Device Powers The Next Generation Enterprise TV Networks

xTV, (ASX:XTV), the next generation media network, today announced a cloud-based online TV network device to enable any screen to become cloud-TV enabled. The product, xTVNow is a fully self-contained HDMI device that is powered by the xTV online TV platform, Microsoft Windows®, and Microsoft Azure®.

xTV offers a real-time platform for companies looking to integrate their social needs which are then custom built and loaded up to the xTVNow device to create a company’s own Online .TV. xTVNow plugs into the HDMI port on most smart televisions and is no bigger than a USB storage device. Companies then have access to a real-time feed, which is updated with tailored selections from YouTubeTM, TwitterTM, news services, and the company’s own media content.

Unlike other devices in the marketplace which require a PC or laptop to transmit to the device, xTVNow is fully self-contained. Once content is on the screens, users can download information including marketing and product information through QR codes on their phones and tablets. With xTVNow companies can simply plug in the device and have a personalized interactive experience across several devices. xTVNow is a new way for enterprise companies to monetize their digital screens.
