TAMPA BAY, Fla., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- BB&T, the Bank of the Buccaneers, is giving Bucs fans in the Gulf Coast region another reason to celebrate the return of NFL football with the "Ultimate Bucs Fan Experience" sweepstakes through Nov. 30. At stake is a custom-made Tampa Bay Buccaneers VIP prize package worth up to $26,000. The grand-prize winner will choose from a list of prizes, including an All Star trip to Hawaii, 2007 season tickets, a Monday night football party with a Bucs player and four cheerleaders, and the chance to be featured in stadium advertising during the 2007 season. The winner also will receive $5,000 deposited into a BB&T Elite Gold account. (Prize details are available below.) "All Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans have one thing in common - they love the Bucs," said Bill Klich, president of BB&T's Florida Operations. "But given the opportunity to define the ultimate Bucs experience, the definition changes from one fan to the next. "Much like BB&T customers tailoring their banking services to fit their financial needs, we're giving one lucky fan the chance to decide which five Bucs interactions will collectively create his or her ultimate Bucs experience." BB&T has been a Tampa Bay Buccaneers sponsor, or Pewter Partner, since the 2004 season, shortly after it entered the Florida retail banking market. The company is launching the promotion to increase its overall brand awareness in Florida's Gulf Coast region, and to increase deposits across all lines of business - retail, business, corporate and private financial services. Easy to Enter: Florida residents ages 18 and older can enter the Ultimate Bucs Fan Experience Sweepstakes by visiting one of the 53 participating BB&T locations and dropping an entry form into a designated kiosk. Entries are limited to one per person per day (limit 10 entries total) unless a BB&T Free checking account is opened, in which case 10 entries will be awarded all at once. Entry forms can be obtained at BB&T financial centers, in select newspaper advertisements and online at http://www.bankofthebucs.com/. Picking the Winner: The contest will have multiple winners. On Friday, Dec. 1, 53 semi-finalists (one from each BB&T financial center) will be announced at a BB&T/Bucs pep rally. All semifinalists will receive a $100 deposit into a new BB&T checking account, free Bucs checks, Bucs gear and apparel, two tickets to the Dec. 10 home game, and a pre-game visit to the Bucs pirate ship at Raymond James Stadium. While on the pirate ship, five semifinalists will be picked to move into the final drawing on Dec. 31. All five finalists will receive a $500 BB&T 6-month CD, a free financial checkup, and a pre-game field visit. The winner will be chosen at the Dec. 31 game. The drawings for the finalists and the winner will be broadcast on BucVision, the giant video boards at either end of Raymond James Stadium. Getting the Word Out: The Sweepstakes will be promoted through BB&T at all Buccaneer home games throughout the sweepstakes period, at multiple BB&T- sponsored Bucs pep rallies, in participating BB&T Gulf Coast financial centers, on the Internet, on ATM receipts at Raymond James Stadium, and through local print, radio and TV advertising.
