ebookers plc Trading Statement

30 May 2003: - ebookers plc, the pan-European online travel agency today issues
a statement on trading:

Bookings have continued the positive upward trend since April 25 indicated at
the time of our Q1 2003 results. Some of our businesses have been affected by
SARS and the international political situation; however the trend is positive
and in line with Directors' expectations, due to the breadth of the product
range that we now offer. Having announced our first profit in Q1 2003 we are
still cautious about Q2 2003 which is a seasonally weaker quarter. Current
trading and margins leave us very confident about the underlying trend in our
business.

The integration of Travelbag and introduction of technology improvements
continue on schedule. ebookers booking engines have been installed at Travelbag
and Bridge the World, new mid office systems have gone live at Travelbag and
ebookers UK, and a new five stage booking process for ebookers UK is already
proving successful. These are part of a pipeline of significant new products
being introduced this year.

Dinesh Dhamija CEO ebookers plc commented:

"Overall we are very encouraged by the rebound in the market and expect a
strong performance for the remainder of the year and in future in the rapidly
expanding European online travel market. ebookers plc is one of the best
positioned to take advantage of the pan-European growth in online travel."
