Coupa Software (COUP) is partnering with JPMorgan Chase on a virtual credit-card program for the bank's business customers.

Single-use virtual cards can give businesses an easier way to manage payments specifically with high volume, low-value, and one-off suppliers, Coupa said in a release.

JPMorgan clients will get increased control and security and automatic reconciliation through the partnership, John Skinner, head of client management for commercial card at JPMorgan, said in prepared remarks. Suppliers will be able to get paid faster and have a more streamlined accounts receivable process, he added.

Although person-to-person payments have been made easier via platforms such as Venmo or Zelle, business-to-business payments remain a particularly paper-heavy process.
