Docucorp International(R) (Nasdaq:DOCC), a leading provider of
Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions, announced today
its support of the Microsoft Insurance Value Chain Architecture
Framework (IVCAF) v1.0 at the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum.
"We are pleased to be part of a network of partners committed to
using globally standardized technologies such as the Internet, XML,
Web services and ACORD insurance standards. By leveraging
Microsoft's advanced services oriented architecture, we can better
manage end-to-end business information processing on the Microsoft
platform," said Bruce Dale, senior vice president, products,
Docucorp International. "By supporting Microsoft's IVCAF v1.0, we
will ultimately be able to expand the breadth of resources
available to our customers." "Docucorp has been a leading provider
of CCM solutions within the insurance industry for more than twenty
years," said Kevin Kelly, managing director, U.S. insurance
industry, Microsoft Corp. "The company's depth of industry
expertise makes it an ideal partner in the IVC program." The
Microsoft IVCAF v1.0 is an industry-standards-based approach
delivering a library of integrations and prescriptive guidance on
the development of straight-through processing, enabling workflow
across multiple insurance applications. The architecture, a result
of newly launched integration labs that have been held monthly
since the beginning of 2006, will reduce the time and cost required
by insurance customers attempting to integrate core
line-of-business applications for cross-enterprise workflows.
Docucorp's CCM solutions enable insurers to automate policy
production and correspondence, simplify industry standard form
maintenance and streamline content management and workflow. The
ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum will be held in Las Vegas from
May 22-24. Docucorp's solutions will be presented at Booth #436.
