Goody's Family Clothing Announces June Sales KNOXVILLE, Tenn., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Goody's Family Clothing, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDYS) today reported total sales of $106.8 million for the fiscal month of June 2005 (the five weeks ended July 2, 2005), an increase of 1.4% from total sales of $105.3 million for the fiscal month of June 2004 (the five weeks ended July 3, 2004). Comparable store sales for June 2005 decreased 4.5% from June 2004. Total sales for the first five months of fiscal 2005 decreased 2.4% to $495.4 million from $507.5 million during the same period last year. Comparable store sales for the first five months of fiscal 2005 decreased 7.6% from the same period last year. Goody's, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, is a retailer of moderately priced family apparel.
