security, and Cardinal Information Systems, Ltd., a leading
provider of software-based digital broadcasting solutions, today
announced the availability of a complete solution for secure mobile
TV. The combination of Cardinal�s Playout broadcasting system and
SafeNet�s DRM Fusion Toolkit4TV will enable end-users to access
on-demand broadcast content on mobile devices while securing rights
and revenue for the content owners. Mobile TV is among the most
exciting applications emerging in the cellular industry, offering
the promise of increased Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and low
operational costs. Operators and phone manufacturers are therefore
targeting rapid deployment of open standard mobile TV services.
