(NASDAQ:TNOX) today presented further analysis of a Phase 2 study of its novel HIV antibody, TNX-355, in a late-breaking submission at the American Society for Microbiology's Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC). The company, which recently released favorable Week 24 viral-reduction results for the drug candidate, had an abstract at the meeting. The presentation provided details on several endpoints of the study. In addition to meeting the primary endpoint of mean change in viral load from baseline with statistical significance, TNX-355, combined with an optimized background regimen (OBR), demonstrated considerable virologic benefit compared to OBR alone as measured by average area under the curve minus baseline (AAUCMB).
