Today, Glenn Tilton, United’s Chairman and CEO, was named to the Global Competitiveness and Trade Promotion and Advocacy subcommittees of the President’s Export Council.

The President’s Export Council, sworn in today, comprises 20 private sector company CEOs, members of Congress and Administration representatives.

"The U.S. aviation industry plays a critical role in enabling global trade, and the movement of people and goods, and I look forward to working with my colleagues toward the goal of doubling America's exports over the next five years," Tilton said.

Tilton, who is chairman of the Air Transport Association, also serves on DOT Secretary LaHood’s Future of Aviation Advisory Committee.
